The winter solstice, also called Yule, is the longest night of the year and marks the sun at it's weakest point all year. It is from this moment when Sun is at its weakest that it can only grow stronger as time progresses and it reaches its peak strength at the summer solstice. It is the promise that things will get better. That days will be longer. That the sun will shine brightly again. The winter solstice is about renewal, turning points, and change.

Join us on the evening of Dec 19th, just as we launch into full blown celebration time, to get quiet and consider all that has passed, what has gotten us to this point, and to celebrate the promise of what is to come. We'll flow gently, meditate peacefully, and then celebrate vivaciously. The cider will be warm and the wine will be spiced as we bring the sun into our space with candles, a warm fire, and twinkling lights.

Where is the workshop?

Old warehouse turned super cool East Nashville space? Okay.

When can I come?

The solstice is upon us! Okay so we're a couple days early, but IT COUNTS.

What's The Schedule?

6:00

Show Up

If you’re smart, and we know you are, you’ll show up a little early and find your parking spot and get settled on your mat.

6:15

Yoga Begins

We will do 45 min of breath work and restorative yoga. It's an all levels class so whether your an advanced practitioner or you've never done yoga before you'll be at home here with us.

7:00

Journaling and Reflection

We'll spend some time writing (so bring your favorite notebook!) and reflecting on what the year has brought us and identifying any areas we want to focus on moving forward.

7:30

FIRE TIME

Once we've set our intentions and what we want to manifest, we will write down what we are grateful for, a giant list of all the things and people that helped us throughout the year. We'll have time to share what that is if you want (or not if you don't) and then we will spend some time in meditation. We'll end the night sipping some wintery cocktails and snacking and then wrap up and head home to rest.
